NEGATIVE: 'Believe' Video Released
August 29, 2011"Believe", the new video from the Finnish rock band NEGATIVE, can be seen below.
Commented NEGATIVE frontman Jonne Aaron: "The video was filmed in Tampere [Finland]. In the scenes that were filmed on the beach, you can see area where I spent my childhood years ... it's a western part of Tampere city and it's called Lielahti. If you look really closely, you can see the factory where my grandparents used to work at back in '60s and '70s. So this video is kind of a back-to-the-roots step, [and] it means a lot to me. I'm very glad that this video brings more flesh to the song. The song itself is quite romantic and so is the video." He added, "We thought it might be very exotic to the people all over the world to film some Finnish nature/sunset."
"Believe" comes off NEGATIVE's fifth album, "Neon", which was released in June 2010. The CD was recorded at the Broken Wave studios in Los Angeles with Warren Riker as the engineer/assistant producer and Jimmy Westerlund as the producer.
According to a press release, "Neon" is "a milestone in NEGATIVE's career. A lot has been invested in the production the material has been polished to perfection before entering the studios under the supervision of Jeff Blue. Singer Jonne Aaron's vocal scale stretches wider than ever and the band's playing comes together brilliantly on this album. Aaron has composed an album filled to the brim with emotional stadium rock."
"Neon" was the first NEGATIVE album to be released in Europe and Asia simultaneously via Warner Music and JVC Music, respectively.
